Register for Confab25

Please review the following information carefully prior to registering! It includes important details and options not explained in the registration form itself. 

Registration Options: 

At the top of the registration form, you will select which days you want to attend. 

• • Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday: Confab's single-track plenary sessions start Monday afternoon and run through 5:00PM Wednesday. 

  • Thursday: There are no plenary sessions on Thursday; it is devoted to breakout committee meetings.

If you will be attending one of the Thursday full-day, breakout committee meetings, select which one.

• • NOTE: The Thursday meetings are for attendees in specific roles. Review the meeting descriptions and invited audiences prior to registering: 

    • • EJFAT User Meeting 

      • ESnet Site Coordinators Committee (ESCC) Meeting 

      • IRI Management Council Meeting

  • Only register for one Thursday meeting. The meetings run concurrently for the full day. General attendees will not be moving between the different meetings.

  • Event coordinators will reach out to correct any Thursday registration errors. 

Registration Fees:

Rates:

• Registration is $250 per day.

Registration fees help cover the cost of the meeting space, AV, and the following meals:

• Monday: Afternoon refreshments, full buffet dinner.

• Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday: Light breakfast, morning coffee/tea service, lunch, and afternoon refreshments.

Fee Payment Options:

• Attendees from outside Lawrence Berkeley National Lab may pay registration fees with a credit card.

• Berkeley Lab personnel:

  • ESnet employees must use a PID. (Refer to guidance from the ESnet Business Office.)

  • All other Berkeley Lab employees may use a PID or credit card, consistent with your office guidelines. 

Cancellations

Registration cancellations made prior to 5:00PM Pacific on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, will receive a refund of the registration fee. Follow the cancellation instructions included in your registration confirmation email.
